Kisner's "Garage"
After graduating from Avara's Academy of Hair Design, Denny worked at a local barbershop from 8am - 8pm. He would take his first guest in his parent's garage at 8:30pm. Denny's mom would have dinner in the microwave and he would come in the front door and eat dinner walking out of the back door to greet his first guest of the evening. Denny would cut hair until midnight and start the process over again the next day. Kisner's first promotion was "Bring a Friend, Get a free haircut." We still have guests today that remember getting their haircut in Dennis Sr. & Loretta Kisner's garage.
